Jewellery Care Guide

A little care keeps your jewellery looking its best for years.

Every day

  • Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
  • Take it off before swimming, showering, exercising or cleaning.
  • Wipe each piece with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.

Storing

  • Keep pieces dry and apart from each other, in a pouch or a lined box, so they do not scratch.
  • Fasten necklaces before storing them to avoid tangles.

Cleaning

  • Use lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Avoid abrasive cloths, toothpaste and chemical cleaners on plated pieces.

Copper

Copper naturally darkens and develops its own tone over time. To bring back the shine, rub gently with a little lemon juice and salt, rinse and dry well.
